Tatianna Levkovich

I am interested in biology and potentially attending medical school or perhaps becoming involved in pharmaceutical research. I am a senior at UMass and my favorite courses were molecular biology, organic chemistry and genetics. I am looking at emx1 expression in a novel zebrafish mutant.

Andrea Boileau

I am an undergraduate biology student planning to graduate in January, 2008. I am considering attending either pharmacy school to obtain a PharmD or graduate school to focus on microbiology after taking a short time off. I have worked at CVS Pharmacy for more than six years and really enjoy assisting patients with their medication, but I also enjoy doing research. I am working with Dr. Ferreira this semester studying various genes in zebrafish that will hopefully lead to a better understanding of craniofacial defects.

Chontelle McNear

I am a senior at UMass Dartmouth working on my honors thesis with Dr. Ferreira. I am interested in attending medical school after graduation. I am looking at midline signals in the zebrafish and how they influence craniofacial development.

Rodeler Youte

I am a junior at UMass Dartmouth and I work for Dr. Ferreira and am doing a research project with her. I am interested in attending medical school when I graduate. I am looking at gene expression of a newly identified gene and how it is expressed during jaw development.
